Ramadan Diary: Day 5

Day 5

Time to give you a recount of another day of fasting again... So, I did the usual. Woke up, did suhoor, however it was only two glasses of water because I wasn't feel very hungry... Prayed Fajr, slept until about 1.30pm. Got up, prayed Zuhr, went online.

Received a phonecall from my mum to pick up my younger sister from school. Took a shower, put my face on, and picked up my sister. Enrolled at the TAFE/college so I can do Certificate IV in Teaching English as a Second Language for the next 6 months until I get accepted into the University of Queensland, insha'Allah. Paid the enrollment fee which was like $2000, ARRGH!

Prayed Asr. Texted my mum to bring home a pizza from Woolworths, broke my fast with some dates and water, ate like two chocolate biscuits (I was hungry!) and prayed Maghrib.

Mum got home, and I took the pizza from her hands...

Eggplant and feta gourmet pizza!

It's suitable for vegetarians (not a vego but I like to
eat vegetarian when the "halal meat" option is
unavailable)... And sooo delicious.

Tasty toppings.

And I done cooked dat pizza!

Here are my "starter slices"...
Meaning I ate the ENTIRE pizza, no kidding.

Well, minus the two slices my younger sister stole.

(Like my blue and purple polka dot pajamas?)

So, yup... That was Day 5, although it's about 10pm and the day hasn't exactly finished yet. I'll just tell you my plans for the rest of the night: take a shower, pray, have a cup of tea, go online for a bit, and watch Spirited Away with a mug of hot Milo (Australian-made chocolate powder stuff you put with milk... With cold milk, some of the chocolatey goodness dissolves in the milk and turns the milk chocolatey, and the rest floats to the top and you eat it with a spoon).

For those who don't know what Spirited Away is, I suggest you watch this trailer to get a taste (not literally, ew) of Miyazaki, noobs.
