So... who am I again?

Just thought I’d begin my repertoire of Muslimness with a little background of who I am and what I do. Hi. I’m Saqib. Saqib Ali Rashid, to be exact. I’m 18, from the economic scar known as Peterborough, United Kingdom (okay that was a bit too harsh... it’s home, I suppose) and I like to think myself as a writer... because it’s all I really can do to be honest. So insha’Allah if the 20th of August goes well (A-level results day to those not living in the UK) I’ll be studying BA Creative Writing with English and Communication at Kingston University London. Woo!
Stop press: I did AWESOME in the A-levels so yeah, uni go go go!
I mean, I’m no good with crunching sums. Or knowing how businesses work. Nor do I really care about politics. And NO. I don’t want to be a doctor. Sorry Mum. But I do realise I’m apparently good at words. So er, yeah, the majority of my stuff on this site will be pieces of poetry and prose, with commentaries if possible. And of course that’s not all I’ll limit myself too, like I said before, anything exuding Muslimness is worth writing for and I’ll insha’Allah adhere to this principle as well.
I’m not sure how to describe myself, but if you treat me right I’ll vice versa. Just don’t be creepy, condescending or patronising otherwise you might just find that’ll bite you back in the butt. ^_^
Hope you enjoy my stuff, and I hope you’re liking the Muslimness website in general insha’Allah.
