Burnt candle sparkled out light,

Commentary
The poetry of Imam Al Shafi’ee inspired me to write this short poem. How words can be so few, yet carry so much meaning behind them. With fire burning and ice freezing, I wanted to express how our love for the Quran can not be measured by normal love, for deep love goes beyond the surface and deeper beyond the eye.
