VACANCY FOR MULTI-SKILLED OPERATOR AT ISLAM CHANNEL (C. London)
The Islam Channel is looking for a skilled camera operator / multi skilled operator (MSO). Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Evening, weekend shifts and occasionally unsociable hours will be required from time to time. You would be responsible for all aspects of camera work including storage and maintenance.
Applicants with experience in MCR vision mixing sound and IT skills will be preferred, as will those with show reels. The applicant must be experienced in using Sony DSR 350/400/570s
cameras and Sony Z1/Z5s to a high standard. They should also be able to use Arri lights, filters, gels, radio mics, etc, whilst shooting on location and having lighting knowledge.
This role would suit someone who is flexible, open minded and hard working. Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure is essential.
