In the name of God, compassionate & merciful بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ | Peace be with you السلام عليكم
GOOD DEED: #37 Take care of animals
- "We have not sent you (Muhammad) but as a Mercy to the worlds." Qur'an (21:107)
- "And in the creation of yourselves and the fact that animals are scattered (through the earth), are Signs for those of assured Faith." (45:4)
- "There is not an animal (that lives) on the earth, nor a being that flies on its wings, but (forms part of) communities like you. Nothing have we omitted from the Book, and they (all) shall be gathered to their Lord in the end." (6:38)
- Narrated by Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah bin Mas’ud: We were on a journey with the Prophet (ﷺ), and he left us for a while. During his absence, we saw a bird called hummara with its two young and took the young ones. The mother bird was circling above us in the air, beating its wings in grief, when the Prophet came back and said: "Who has hurt the FEELINGS of this bird by taking its young? Return them to her." (Muslim) ...
