On behalf of ULU ISoc, presenting:
"The Green Campaign Street Makeover"
WHEN: Saturday 20th March 1.30-3.30pm
WHERE: Green Street and Plaistow
WHAT: Brothers will be kitting up for THE BIG CLEAN UP in Plaistow E13. The area is filled with litter and overgrown vegetation; the perfect opportunity to get out there and earn some Green reward! We’re talking high visibility jackets, heavy duty litter pickers, bin liners and hedge cutters!
Brothers and Sisters will be manning stalls along Green Street to raise awareness of the current state of the environment and what we as Musllims can do to fix it! InshaAllah! It’s an innovative means of Da’wah that you do not want to miss out on! We’ll be selling Green juice, green cakes, organic snacks and plenty more!
Not to mention, sisters will be showing off their skills with face painting and henna tattoos!
The local masjid will also be getting a makeover. We will be speaking to people in the masjid, and sticking up posters on how to follow the Sunnah of our Beloved Prophet (s.a.w) in being an Eco-aware Greener Muslim!
