In the name of God, compassionate & merciful بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ | Peace be with you السلام عليكم
Yousuf's been writing about how difficult it is living as a Muslim in Tennessee, USA, about working with other Muslims who don't represent Islam very well and how the economic recession has affected his living. Recently -within the last couple of months-, brother Yousuf passed his Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, alhamdulillah; he was offered a one year teaching placement in INDONESIA... And he took it!
On Tuesday 12th January 2010 Yousuf said farewell to his family, home and country to take a 7hr flight to Tokyo. He's there right now for the day and will take another flight to Indonesia where he'll live and work for a year.
I'll keep you all updated with his photos and messages insha'Allah. If you're in Indonesia, look out for this man! Make him feel welcome in fabulous Indonesia!
