Moment of Ehsan

The day before yesterday it was really late, about midnight when we headed home. Nothing but
a pitch black sky and really cold air was what I expected as I left my aunt's house.
But only calmness overcame me as I stepped outside. Not regular calm but beautiful calm, something from the heavens.
Like at the end of a movie when victory belongs to the protagonist, a gentle breeze touches the hero's face after a lengthy battle victory, it was kinda like that!
The sky was not black, but misty orange blending with several shades of grey, soft clouds, very soft, almost as delicate as a baby's hand were hiding an incredibly bright light. I know, I know, I sound weird. The moon! It glowed so beautifully I could have made a prayer right there!
How could I deny there was something even more beautiful that made this awe striking scene? And when the moon did show up it truly was indescribable. I could have stood there all night and still have been in so much awe and not fear anything at all. That's what I call taqwa- God consciousness. My heart chanted along with my tongue ever so slowly and carefully 'Subhanallah'.
Say it, it really does roll of the tongue and echoes to every other living heart, 'Subhanallah'. How far Allah is from imperfection. Glory be to him.
All praise is due to him. Creator of the heavens and the earth and all that they contain.
