Music is one of the purest and most beautiful creations of God Almighty.
He set the tone and rhythm of every sound in the universe. Music or singing like all the creations of God, now constitute an important part of
our daily life. All things within an Islamic lifestyle can be lawfully used or maliciously abused.
Both music and singing are created pure, and beautiful like our fresh air and fresh water and they can be corrupted or polluted by evil-doers of every nationality, color or gender.
The corruption of some "music", shows or songs does not make all the music or songs illegal - haram (prohibited) just like the pollution of some water or fresh air by some people will not deem all the water and air haram.

Adoption is of two types – forbidden and prescribed. If a person asks to adopt a child from the orphanage, is it permitted for those in charge to give him what he wants?Praise be to Allaah. Adoption of children is of two types, forbidden and not forbidden. The forbidden type means adopting a child in the sense that the child is considered to be the child of the adopting parent and subject to the rulings on children. This is not permitted. Allaah nullified it in the Qur’aan when He said (interpretation of the meaning): “…Nor has He made your adopted sons your real sons…” [al-Ahzaab 33:4] The kind which is prescribed and may be mustahabb (recommended) means being kind towards the child and giving him a righteous religious upbringing and sound direction, teaching him that which will benefit him in this world and the next. But it is not permitted to hand a child over except to one who is known to be trustworthy, religiously-committed and of good character, who will take care of the child’s interests. He should also be a local resident, so that he will not take the child away to a country where his presence may be a cause for his religious commitment being lost in the future. If these conditions are met in the case of both the child and the adopting parent, then it is OK to hand over a foundling whose parentage is not known. Leave me not single (childless), though You are the Best of the inheritors).” This is a beautiful du’aa’ which is very appropriate in this case. Also suitable is another prayer of Zakariya: “Rabbi hab li min ladunka dhurriyyatan tayyibatan innaka samee’ al-du’aa’ (O my Lord! Grant me from You a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation).”The story of Zakariya contains valuable lessons for us. Allaah has told us this story in several places in the Qur’aan. For example, in Soorat Aal ‘Imraan, where He tells us about Maryam (peace be upon her) He says (interpretation of the meaning):“So her Lord (Allaah) accepted her [Maryam] with goodly acceptance. He made her grow in a good manner and put her under the care of Zakariya. Every time he entered al-mihrab [a praying place or private room] to (visit) her, he found her supplied with sustenance. He said, ‘O Maryam! From where have you got this?’ She said, ‘This is from Allaah.’ Verily, Allaah provides sustenance to whom He wills, without limit.At that time Zakariya invoked his Lord, saying: ‘O my Lord! Grant me from You a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearer of invocation.’
