Dr Bilal Hassam, Executive Member of The Leaf Network, shared his thoughts last Wednesday on taking care of elderly parents, on Channel 4's 4thought.tv.
This airing coincided with the major news story on 15th June: a financial crisis at Southern Cross, the UK's largest care home provider, with 751 homes across the country.
Bilal Hassam gave his views, both as a Muslim and a doctor, briefly discussing what he believes are the Muslim and societal duties towards our parents and elderly relatives.
