Ever had the problem of trying to memorize Qur'an in a noisy environment? This might not be a problem for those who listen to Qur'an with their MP3 player since they can plug in their ear set and block out the noise, but what if your MP3 was recently confiscated by Mr Williams at school, never to be returned back?! You're now left with your handy pocket Qur'an but wherever you go, you hear music being played, people screaming at each other or even deafening noises coming from those annoying construction sites.
Just recently I brought with me my pocket Qur'an so that I could memorize the Quran while being on the road with my family in the same car. My brother took the wheel and he was in control of the radio. It was turned on so loudly that it seemed impossible for me to memorize or hear what I was reading.
This is what I did to temporarily solve the problem: I plugged my left index finger into my left ear-hole while I read. Simple as that. No matter how loud the radio was, I could hear my own voice vibrate more loudly even though I read in a very low tone voice. That's one tactic, try it and see!
I'd like to hear what you've done to continue memorizing in a noisy situation.
