According to reports of moon sightings for the beginning of Hajj, Eid ul-Adha will be on Friday the 27th of November for the majority of the world, and on Saturday 28th of November for others, insha'Allah.
What is Eid ul Adha?
For Muslims Eid ul-adha celebrates the end of the annual pilgrimage: Hajj. It marks the sacrifice of Prophet Ibraham (as) who was willing to give his most loved possession for the way of God = his son Ismael (as), therefore Muslims are taught to give up their possessions or luxuries for others to balance social equality.

Sacrifice yourself
For this celebration, Muslimness is beginning a SACRIFICE YOURSELF CAMPAIGN leading up to Eid ul-Adha and for the rest of the month. We will individually and as a team SACRIFICE something we desperately love for those who live without it and need it more.
Obviously we're not going to literally sacrifice ourselves, that's haram, and plain daft. Some initial ideas (and probably not the most effective) include giving food cans and frozen goods to shelters, giving the neighbours a hamper-basket of seasonal foods and pastries, giving money for local organisations that aren't "Islamic" -> this is a PDO moment: Potential Dawah Opportunity - and other sacrificial acts that are much more effective insha'Allah.
Got any more ideas for us?
The Prophet Muhammad (saw) was asked: "What is Qurban?" He answered: "It is the sunnah of your father Ibrahim (as), for every hair of the Qurban (animal sacrificed) you will receive a reward from Allah, and for every hair in the wool you will receive a reward".
(Hadith, Ibn Majah and Tirmidhi).
If you want to join us in the SACRIFICING YOURSELF CAMPAIGN this year, in addition to the 'qurban', reply in the comment box by sharing your good deeds to energise all of us! This SYC campaign is open for all!
