Day 16
Get used to these Pakistani iftar posts, because I'm guessing I'll be going to them every week! I feel a bit bad for not taking a dish along, though... I'm thinking of taking something next week but I'm a lousy cook. I really need to learn how to cook since I'm getting married really soon insha'Allah! Might take something for the dinner and dessert. Gotta love three course Pakistani meals.
Any food suggestions? Doesn't have to be Pakistani - remember, an Egyptian sister took her beshamel lasagne last week!
Anyway, the usual happened... I rocked up at the Neighbourhood Centre at about 5.30pm. I'm a total idiot, I drove straight past it and then realized what I did then thought to myself, "What the heck!?" Hahaha. It must be the fasting - making me delusional!
We socialized, talked Islam, ate food. The food was good, but when is it ever not good!? I love food, man. I could eat all day long (when I'm not fasting), all night long. Get as fat as a house, yeah, who cares! My future husband will love me just the way I am (I hope!!) so it's not like I'd have anyone else to impress.
Happy snaps time!

Ze table.

Dessert!
Some tasty cookie-dough-tasting slice,
something else that was sweet and yummy,
and a chocolate and coconut ball made by a revert sister!
