I lost my Ramadan

In the name of God, compassionate & merciful بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ | Peace be with you السلام عليكم

A third of Ramadan has gone. Like most things in our lives we double blinked and time flew out of the window and into the gutters.

I ask you and ask myself first: Did we really use our first THIRD of unlimited guaranteed blessing well? Really, efficiently, productively well? The answer is: No. I know this because we're human and fail at 80% of the things we do the first time.

A simple and humble lesson to you today is to not take failure as the last stop. Get up, get outside and keep working. Out of the thousand rejections you receive, one acceptance will make projects worthwhile. From the pulsating negative 'karma' in your homes and lives, one small moment will make life worth living. And with all the depressing, difficult and heartwrenching experiences you go through, certain someones will appear soon and allow you to lean on them to become stronger.

Remember Allah not just because we ask you to, but because you want to. You will find something out of it. Stop listening to what people throw at you, videos of conspiracies, cultural ritualistic sayings 'from the forefathers' and your social circles' attitudes. Use your own head, become a 'person of understanding'. After you've fasted and gained energy with food, pick up that Qur'an, read what Allah says about whatever broken path you're on and make a checklist of what you want to and need to do. Then go do it. Today.

Take death and life as a reminder. I have family members who did not make it to this Ramadan. And as I don't know if I'll live through this month, I mean, I really do not know; such uncertainty is freaky but also calming for death IS the only certainty in life - I wish you all a sincere and urging productive remaining month. Fast hard, fast furiously. Keep at it when it all ends. Give charity to everyone who asks and does not ask. Live for today, work for today's earnings, be prepared for tomorrow and don't worry about yesterday. Learn. You must learn.

That is all. Ramadan Mubarak. - Oh, a poetic brother from America caught on and messaged me a 'Creamy Ramadan'. Funny.
