In the name of God, compassionate & merciful بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ | Peace be with you السلام عليكم
When you think of Zain Bhikha (pictured below), notable nasheed artist, what first springs into your mind? His sumptuous voice or his compassionate and compelling skills of harmonising?
Well, er, I think of his contributions to Disney classic The Lion King but that's just me... :D
But enough of my rambling, I'm here to let you know that our talented brother has released a new album today. 1415 The Beginning is a reference to 15 years of recording (1415 AH was 1994 - the year when Zain released his first independent album, A Way Of Life) and is available on CD or direct download from The Nasheed Shop at http://nasheedshop.com/prod.php?pc=ZB-007 From there, you can sample some of the 11 emotionally charged tracks and even few a video from one of the album's singles. At £9.99, you can't go wrong so insha'Allah you'll be snapping up those disc things that play music when desired. :D
It's great to see awesome Muslim artists like Zain Bhikha pushing forward with progress and just getting better and better at what they do. May Allah reward them and keep them on the straight path! Ameen. :)
