A Note From Sound Vision
An element of Islamophobia is creating misgivings and propaganda against the Prophet, peace be upon him. Muslims love their Prophet. However, sometimes we are not just in our expressing our love. Our Sound Vision articles and newsletters address these issues.

Masjids, Islamic centers and organizations have for long focused on free distribution of the Quran as a way of spreading understanding of Islam. While this is crucial, we must also not forget the role of the Prophet, the man whose wife called him the embodiment of the ideals of the Quran.

This is why I would like to suggest that we all, as individuals, members of Masjids or other Islamic organizations, make a concerted effort to distribute free material in the weeks and months ahead about Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.

This should also be given to local libraries if it is not already there, as well as organizations interested in learning more about Islam. Our update this week focuses on this topic, as well as the urgent need for Muslims to learn about and share the life of the Prophet, live his example, and communicate his legacy.

Peace,
Abdul Malik Mujahid
