Al-Salam Institute's 2011 Hadith, Fiqh & Tafsir Courses


The Institute
Al-Salam Institute specialises in the teaching of traditional Islamic sciences under the guidance of qualified and renowned scholars of our time. Amongst its primary teachers are Sheikh Muhammad Akram Nadwi, the acclaimed Oxford based scholar and author of several academic Islamic works, Sheikh Afifi al-Akiti, lecturer of theology at Oxford University, and many others. Al-Salam’s primary focus is the wide scale dissemination of authentic traditional Islamic knowledge and to facilitate access to renowned scholars. As such Al-Salam's courses are subsidised as much as possible to ensure accessibility through affordability. Courses are aimed at an adult audience on a general scale and segregation is catered for whenever possible.

Al-Salam Institute have announced their list of Winter/Spring term courses for 2011:
  • Sahih al-Bukhari
  • Lives of the Pious Scholars
  • Sunan al-Tirmidhi
  • Badai al-Sanai of al-Kasani
  • Shafi'i Fiqh (Free)
  • Tafsir (Free) @Asian Culture Centre, Oxford

All other courses are being held at Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, UK. You will be pleased to learn about the reduction in course fees for this term. Enroll in all 6 courses for £175 per term, or £15 per day. {Register on Al-Salam Institute}
