Get involved in Charity Week!
Do what you can for just one week!Charity Week for Orphans and Needy Children is taking place from 1st – 7th November; this is a national student lead initiative with the aim of uniting everyone in an effort to raise money needed funds for these children across the world.
For just one week, the Islamic Society is asking you to join in their efforts to raise as much money for this worthy cause. They are hosting a number of events with something for everyone, with the aim of raising money and having fun at the same time. Most importantly it is about doing all you can for just ONE WEEK.
How can you get involved? Follow the Islamic Society on Twitter for updates and the latest news on their events: (twitter.com/uonislamicsoc) There will be donation buckets around the university campuses all week so you can make your contributions, and you can visit the Charity Week website for more info {www.onecharityweek.com}

Saturday 30th October - Charity Football Tournament - 4:30pm - 8pm
Sports Centre Outdoor Pitches. £3 per player (7-A-Side)
