In the name of God, compassionate & merciful بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ | Peace be with you السلام عليكم
A first of its kind the Muslim Quarterly is aimed specifically at Muslim men and was given top marks in our review for being innovative, ingenious and down right hot.The latest issue however, has got me thinking. All those slogans and all that make-up? Is the magazine turning queer-ish? I do not know if the Tariqs, Haroons and Dawuds will feel comfortable picking up a magazine with a cover model wearing that certain shade of pink, but inshaAllah, I'm making dua' that its spectacularly successful.
With all the backhanded comments our brothers get from women and the media's constant attack at how chauvinistic they are, Muslim Quarterly is a good step in the right direction. Even if that direction is somewhat fresh.
