In the name of God, compassionate & merciful بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ | Peace be with you السلام عليكم
When the verses of Surah Al-Baqarah about usury (Riba' = in Arabic) were revealed, the Prophet, Allah's peace be upon him, went to the masjid and recited them in front of the people, and then banned the trade of alcohol.
