Who: Shahin Afshari, birth 1979, in Tehran, Iran. [map]
Shahin Afshari's typography fuses traditional Eastern script and contemporary art forms although one could argue the art of printing and script is ancient; it really is however, beautiful art expressing Islamic phrases. I really want the 'besmellah' flower below in various colourways.
