In the name of God, compassionate & merciful بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ | Peace be with you السلام عليكم

You're all sleeping. I'm not going to even bother reporting on how fantasticaly MY fasting day is if you're not even conscious.
... Fine, I will. But make me a chicken sandwich.

For suhoor: I had peanut butter sandwiches, orange juice, water and three dates. A friend went for Umrah during Ramadan and brought me a scrumptious box of almond stuffed honey coated dates. I love dates. A lot. And I do not use that L word so that's proving strong connections.
During the day: I sent out some Eidmas cards. "Eidmas" is the commericialised version of Eid-ul-fitr hitting at the end of Ramadan - the first day of Shawwal. I call it Eidmas for reasons not many understand but it's a tradition for me and a play on known words. And no, it isn't haram, a bidah of any worship, nor my love for the materialistic duniya.
I spoke to some people about their lack of energy and we totally agreed that the BUZZ of Ramadan has completely dissipated. Where have the Ramadan Muslims gone that usually flood to the happy streets of faithiness? Whert art thou?
I watered the cucumber plants which I think are dying now. That's depressing. Their huge leaves have a speckled white layer that crumbles the leaves and shakes off like dust. I think it's plant-cancer.
A message pinged from a foreign friend asking me to design some work for him. He mockingly asked if everything was 'tickety boo'. TICKETY-BOO?! Nobody sane has said this apparently English phrase since World War One. I find this most offensive.

It rained in gallons after dhuhr* salat. That was also depressing... What else?
Oh, I bought this USB hub, nifty little gadget. I also saved Terry's Chocolate Orange bars and stared at them until iftar to yam in one go. (My word: 'yam', meaning to eat whole, fast and without looking back). I notice I talk about food often. It's not a condition and I sincerely apologise for mussing up your fasts if you're oogling over the image.
I've been influenced greatly to watch Japanese directed films by Studio Ghibli. These are a huge collection of hand drawn cartoon animated films overflowing with ludicruously fantastic magical plots. I watched Ponyo, a story of a fish that become human, kinda' like the little mermaid but without the pathetic nancy pancy girly stuff in it. And nobody dies. Well, there's one death but -shrug-. The American version stars Matthew Damon and Noah Cyrus for voice overs. Cool film.
For fast 13's iftar I had dates, a fish dish and fruit juice. I don't remember what else happened. I think Ramadan's giving me amnesia too.
I took the "SDhikr Notes" to a new level by handwriting short dua's and verses of Quran on flower shaped paper and posting them to people I adore. They were laughingly admired by the mature people in the 'hood. Pfft, they're well cool I smugly told them. They are!
I'll be back for more Super Muslimness.
